A classic Hong Kong style restaurant. Always love going to this restaurant when I miss my hometown. They change their special menu regularly that I can always discover new choices. My partner and I usually ordered the regular menu. She always likes their BBQ and egg rice and the chicken and egg rice with the scallion oil. But today I ordered the satay beef noodles and egg with scallion oil tonight which is in their new special menu. The overall dish was a bit salty for me as it was made as a dry mix noodle instead of a soup one. The scallion oil may also make it a bit oily with this combination. My partner ordered the pork chop and egg rice with scallion oil. Hers is good. Pork chop was nicely marinated. Unfortunately they sold out the pineapple bun today which we ordered every time when we came. Fully recommend their pineapple bun which has soft bun texture with a piece of cold butter at the middle. And their lemon tea is good as well. The tea base is really like what I’ve had in Hong Kong. My partner loves their coke spider as they always give full cup of ice cream. They only have noodles soup during lunch period which I think is a bit sad. I like that they always serve the dishes in hot. Recommend to try their Hong Kong style snack as well. Feel like home in every visit. Reasonable price. Parking only on main road or side street.

Been there twice now and the second time we were a bit disappointed as the flavor/quality of the food was inconsistent. The first time we can clearly tasted seafood and spring onion in the braised pork trotter but the second time the flavor was not as rich and it tasted not as fresh. The pineapple bun with butter was pretty good. The portion of the braised beef was quite small. Drinks were average.

had lunch on sunday, quite busy but excellent food and service. WHOEVER said portioning of food was small was definitely not true to me! i had the ink pasta and it was soo creamy and delicious—-however it’s a good idea to rinse and wipe your mouth afterwards coz this was my teeth before rinsing

A charming and authentic café/restaurant servicing good selections of some of Hong Kong local favourite’s dishes and tastes. Staff are friendly. It sure brings back Hong Kong memories while dining there. It’s decorated with Hong Kong posters, pictures, signage’s (shout out to MTR fans) and you can hear popular Hong Kong tunes being played. And the food, drinks and desserts are wonderful (A number of tissues are quite yummy). Hong Kongers in Adelaide have been longing for such cool Hong Kong Café restaurant and we are now grateful to have it in Brolly Toasties !!! And this café/restaurant is really a treat, basically for all nationalities who are hungry and simply looking for delicious food in Adelaide, South Australia.

Such a cute Authentic Hong Kong cafe in Unley. First time trying out their tomato soup twisted macaroni with luncheon and egg, it was so good like perfect for a winter breakfast and I didn't know it was popular in HK. My all time favourite dish is their hainese Chicken rice, it tasted bold and flavoursome! Not bland at all everything with rice and chicken has got the flavour. I would definitely come back here for lunch again and try out their evening menu. The staff here is so friendly and kind. The atmosphere is much like HK vibes and very well hidden on the main Street of unley Rd.

Authentic flavours, from delicious skewers packed with flavour to beer specials perfect for a night out. Loved the East-meets-West fusion pasta and the red bean ice – you can tell it’s crafted with love and care. There’s side street parking nearby, which makes it super convenient. Definitely coming back next time!
